Registration
Every business carried on in Quebec must be registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec, which issues the NEQ.
Sales tax registration
GST and QST registration becomes mandatory once taxable revenue exceeds CAD 30,000 over four consecutive calendar quarters. Below that threshold registration is optional. Once registered, both numbers must appear on every invoice.

3. What this service is
Pronosports is a statistical sports analysis service. It publishes probabilities computed by a mathematical model, together with a written reading of those probabilities.
Pronosports is not a gaming operator. It holds no licence from the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, and does not need one: it accepts no wagers, holds no stakes and pays out no winnings.
No winnings are promised or guaranteed. A probability is not a certainty. An outcome given at 70% does not occur in roughly three cases out of ten — that is what the number means, not a failure of the model. Analyses are provided for information only. They are not investment advice and not an inducement to bet.

4. Intellectual property
The structure of this site, its text, its statistical model, its source code and its graphic elements are owned by the operator and protected under the Copyright Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. C-42). Reproduction or reuse, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited.
Team names, competition names and athlete names are trademarks of their respective owners. They appear here for the sole purpose of identifying the matches being analysed. Their use implies no affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement or approval by those owners.
The emblems shown beside team names are original works created by the operator from each club's colours. They are not official club crests.
5. Sports data
Results, schedules and standings come from public sources. The operator does not warrant their completeness, accuracy or continued availability.
6. Language
Under the Charter of the French Language (CQLR, c. C-11), French is the language of this site and of the contracts concluded through it. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
7. Limitation
The operator makes reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate but cannot guarantee it, and is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of the analyses provided or for the financial consequences of those decisions. See section 9 of the Terms of Service.
